Throw in Scheifele and Trouba. We'll give them Weise and Alberts.

Time for a new GM

What Chevy was thinking with the players he has on that roster is mind boggling

Someone should have told him this was the big leagues

Usually the firing of a coach means they want to find someone with a new system that can work with the group that they have. The only two guys I can see them getting rid of are Buff and Enstrom. trading away Kane for anything less than an established superstar that can fill seats ( maybe a healthy Gaborik) and Pheonix might have two teams to root for in a couple years.

Yeah, my money is on Buff being the first of the "core" moved, but Enstrom wouldn't surprise me either.

Then again, if you were to just replace him on the point, it'd be fun to see how he'd do as a forward again. The guy was a monster for Chicago.

Enstrome and two 2nd rounders for the Schenn brothers.

Philly already has two undersized puck movers on that back end. Dustin is the guy Philly is gonna go after. I dont think the Jets move Enstrom. He has showed some commitment to that team.

LOL. Bogo wouldnt get you Cooter alone. I think it would be hard for Philly to move B.Schenn and or Cooter. Based on theyre games turning around this year after that terrible start. I think Philly would part with a guy like Laughten whos high on alot of teams list. Bogo isnt anything special outside of all the hype of a man child during the Prospects work outs and breaking the bike off the ground.

Bogo's a stud and exactly what Philly needs with Pronger retired. I know the Couturier part is rediculous.

A hockey exec told you this Ek? "trying the goaltending settled"
Either English is their second language or they currently don't have high requirements to be an NHL exec.

Brayden Schenn will spend his next 5 years as an over paid 3rd line pest once Laughton and Cousins step in, in a year or two.

I'm not saying I don't like him, but you're kidding yourself if you think he's gonna become the player we saw playing against kids in the World Juniors.

Chevy will not trade Kaner. Chevy is too cautious. Besides he is the youngest 30 goal scorer in the league, 22 years old, skates 100mph, starting to mature off the ice, and finally has some success recently with new line mates Frolik and Scheifele. He is also locked up at a reasonable rate for the next 5yrs. So all Canucklehead left coast hippie mosshead fans keep on dreaming he will come home to Van and everything will be nice nice. Pipe dream!

If you want guys like Scheif and Trouba you need to draft better - not trade, unless you are trading for a higher pick.
